2015 RX245, also known as o5t52, is a Kuiper belt object (KBO) discovered by the Outer Solar System Origins Survey using the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope on 8 September 2015. Precovery images have been found back to June 23, 2015.
It is one of a small number of detached objects with perihelion distances of 30 AUs or more, and semi-major axes of 250 AU or more. Such objects cannot reach such orbits without some perturber, which led to the speculations of Planet Nine.
