Gymbox is a British fitness company, which runs gyms in the London districts of Bank, Old Street, Victoria, London, Covent Garden, Farringdon, Holborn and Westfield London in Hammersmith and Fulham. Cited as "one of the trendier additions to London's flourishing fitness scene", it is managed by Richard Hilton and is targeted at "fitness freaks with deep pockets". Lonely Planet considered it to be the most popular gym in London as of 2010.The gym offers a wide range of activities aside from regular fitness equipment, from Thai boxing, pilates, and Bollywood dancing, to more offbeat classes like "boob aerobics", "bitch boxing", "pole dancing", and "chav fighting" classes, the latter of which attracted the scrutiny of the Advertising Standards Authority when introduced in the spring of 2009, but was eventually authorised. Gymbox has an Olympic-sized boxing ring and also hosts Latino hip-hop dance and fitness classes.
